The Blog

Hi there! Welcome to Omaru.me, a personal blog of mine. There’s nothing special about this blog. It’s just a tiny corner of the internet where I share my dramas, adventures, misadventures, teaching experiences and a lot more sentiments about life as a person and as a teacher. Here you’ll know about the author’s daily undertakings, travels, and adventures as a teacher and as a person. This blog was also created with the primary purpose of providing its readers cool and helpful internet tips, travel guides, inspirational stories, and tutorials of some sorts.

The Poor Teacher is not purely a travel blog or a tech blog. Although you’ll see a couple of travel guides and computer-related tutorials, the author wants The Poor Teacher to be known more as a personal blog with random but helpful and meaningful stuff.

The Author

A geek-turned-teacher whose passion for teaching and the love of learning coincided at the most unexpected time. Meet Omar Manalansan, a professional elementary teacher from the Philippines. His high school friends used to call him “Omaru.

He’s a frustrated writer, a sports enthusiast, and a huge fan of Luffy and One Piece. He’s an internet addict who likes to share anything under the sun, as long as it is beneficial to other people. A teacher who loves to go on budget-friendly travels. Aside from teaching, he wants to explore the world while still at the young age. Simply put, he’s a fan of life.

Here’s hoping that you’ll find this blog helpful and inspirational. Please do follow me on social media to be updated with my latest articles.
